Tūwharetoa / Te Whānau-a-Apanui I was educated at Whakatāne High School and have lived in Christchurch since 1967. I have played rugby for Canterbury, New Zealand Māori and the All Blacks. I have coached and been involved in the administration side of things and in 1996 I was honoured to receive a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to rugby. It gives me great pleasure to serve as a Rehua trustee, I am a member of the building committee and enjoy helping Harry out round the marae when I’m not driving a tour bus around.
