Marae Booking
Tēnā koutou katoa,
Rehua Marae is available to all communities, organisations, educational providers and whanau. We are located at 79 Springfield Road, St Albans, Christchurch 8014.
All bookings and charges are exclusive of GST.
Facility Hire Costs:
Wharenui – (large Meeting House) – seats a 100 people, sleeps a maximum of 40 people
WHARENUI
Overnight Hire – $750 + GST
Full Day Hire – $550 + GST
Half Day Hire – $300 + GST
Board Room:
Full Day Hire – $250 + GST
Half Day Hire – $150 + GST
Catering:
Catering we offer full catering services for all events of functions held at the Marae. See Rehua Marae menu for set charges.
All users of the kitchen/dining facilities have the responsibility of the equipment and appliances and the final clean-up.
Self -Catering, For those whanau who will be self – catering, cleaning the kitchen is your responsibility. A refundable bond of $250 ($125 Boardroom) applies however, your bond may be kept to cover cleaning charges or loss or damage if required this bond is payable before confirmation of booking.
Professional Caterers – For those whanau utilising professional caterers, a kitchen hire charge of $300 applies.
Pre-departure Check list:
A final check list (in kitchen) has to be completed and given to Administration or left in the key box before departure.
Deposit Required:
A deposit of $200 booking deposit ($100 Boardroom) becomes inclusive in final invoice; covers cancellation, breakages, loss and damage etc this is required to secure your booking of the Wharenui and or Wharekai

- Your deposit is non-refundable if you cancel less than 10 business days.
- Your deposit may be kept to cover marae cleaning or loss/damage of our marae facilities/equipment.
- Cancellations initiated by Rehua Marae will result in a full refund of your deposit
